Helen Buck will take on the new role when she joins the company in January, reported The Grocer. She is currently head of general merchandise marketing at UK food and clothing retailer Marks & Spencer.
Sainsbury’s director of brand marketing, Jeremy Schwartz, decided to leave the company after new marketing director Stephen Nelson decided the role should be restructured.
