Sainsbury’s announces the appointment of Jonny Mason as Director of Corporate Finance for J Sainsbury plc. Jonny, reporting to Roger Matthews, Group Finance Director will replace Richard Chadwick who becomes Director of Internal Audit.
Jonny will join Sainsbury’s at the end of August 2001 from Fitness Holdings Europe where he was Finance Director.

Tim Fallowfield will join Sainsbury’s at the end of October as Group Company Secretary. Tim joins from Exel plc where he is currently Company Secretary and Director of Corporate Legal Services and replaces the incumbent Group Company Secretary, Nigel Matthews who will be retiring in November after 26 years of service with the company.
