The online retail operation of UK supermarket group Tesco achieved record sales for the festive period.
Tesco.com, the UK’s biggest online grocer, had its busiest month ever in December, delivering more than 600,000 orders, including 20 tons of stuffing and 10 million sprouts, reported The Times.
Sales at rival online grocery retailer Ocado, which sells Waitrose products and branded groceries, were almost three times higher in the week leading up to Christmas day, the newspaper added.
