The One Brand has extended its product portfolio with the launch of its One Oaty Goodness porridge range.

The One Oaty Goodness range is available in two flavours, original and golden syrup, and contains no GM ingredients, artificial additives, colours or flavours. The porridge is milled by Mornflake Cereals, which has been milling oats since 1675.

Proceeds from the range go to school feeding programmes in sub-saharan Africa, providing an essential daily meal of maize porridge for children who would otherwise go hungry.

Brand director at The One Brand, Ashley Stockwell, said: “Sitting down to a hearty meal is something so many of us take for granted. We have created One Oaty Goodness, a range of quality oat products which will meet consumers’ needs, while providing nutrition to thousands of hungry children every year.”

With a recommended selling price of GBP0.99 (US$1.53) for the two porridge pots, GBP1.59 for oat sachets and GBP1.49 for the oat bag, the products are available from Tesco and Sainsbury’s from 9 October.

The One Brand is owned by Global Ethics, which aims to fund humanitarian aid projects across rural communities in Africa and has a range of everyday essential products which are sold via major retailers across the UK and internationally.
