TSC Foods, the UK-based soups-to-sauces maker, has acquired soup brand Glorious! for an undisclosed sum.

Glorious!, which was launched last year and has been endorsed by UK celebrity chef Marco Pierre White, was originally developed in collaboration with UK-listed food and beverage firm Conival.
TSC declined to reveal the financial details of the transaction but said the acquisition was “the biggest deal” in its history.
The purchase is part of TSC’s strategy to produce independent products alongside its work as a supplier of own-brand labels to UK retailers.
TSC said the deal would create more jobs at the company, including the newly-created role of head of brand development.
