UK crisp firms Tyrrells has extended its offering of premium snacks with the launch of an apple crisp line.

The Apple Crisps comprise thinly sliced cooked apple packed in 30g bags. Each contains 2% of your daily saturated fat allowance, the crisp maker claimed.

Tyrrells, which was bought by Bahrain-based private-equity firm Investcorp last month, has launched two variants: Proudly Plain and Smashingly Cinnamony.

“We are very excited about our new sweet addition to the Tyrrells range. Our apple crisps are perfect teamed up with a mid-morning coffee or as sweet treat in the afternoon,” the company said.
