Unilever UK is launching an educational TV campaign for its Flora Pro.Activ brand as part of a GBP15m (US$30m) marketing package.


The campaign, which hit screens this week, consists of a series of “infomercials”, which run for 60 seconds and feature brand ambassador Gloria Hunniford.


“We want to help consumers understand how to get optimum results from the Flora pro.activ range and to encourage a healthy lifestyle,” said Flora pro.activ brand manager, Erin Merlin. “The infomercial conveys the message that Flora pro.activ really does work and, if eaten in the right amounts, can significantly lower cholesterol.”


This campaign follows an on-pack promotion carried out earlier this year which also featured Hunniford. The promotion offered consumers a free heart health and cholesterol test.
