Convenience food group Uniq has seen a good start to the current financial year, with sales for the first half increasing.
Overall sales for its continuing businesses were up 4.3% year-on-year. UK sales rose 6.3%, French sales increased 1.5% and Northern European sales climbed 3.6%.
In a trading statement today (17 May) chairman Ross Warburton said he is confident of achieving expected margins improvement in the second half.
“The year has started well, with recovery on track – albeit in its early stages – and we remain confident of achieving expected margin improvement in the second half,” the group said.
