Biscuits and bagged snacks producer United Biscuits (UBUK) has appointed Dave Pickup as sales director.

Previously a divisional sales director at British Bakeries and Manor Bakeries at Premier Foods, Pickup begins his role this week.
Benoit Testard, managing director of UBUK, said: “This is a key role for the business so we are pleased to have someone with such a proven background to lead our sales function. I am sure that Dave will inspire the sales team to even greater success in the future.”
Prior to his time at British Bakeries and Manor Bakeries, Pickup held a variety of positions at Procter & Gamble, including channel sales director for a number of major retailers.
Pickup said: “I am delighted to join United Biscuits and am looking forward to the challenge of leading the biscuits and snacks sales division to reach and exceed our targets.”
