United Biscuits has expanded its McVitie’s Digestives line in the UK with the launch of Cheesecake Creams.

The biscuits consist of a “cheesecake inspired” filling sandwiched between two digestive biscuits. The range comes in two varieties: vanilla and lemon.

Mark Sugden, director market strategy and planning, said the company expected the move to drive growth of the everyday treat segment.

To support the launch, United Biscuits will run outdoor and women’s weeklies advertising campaigns.
