Wyke Farms, the UK cheese maker, is set to sell its cheddar in the US after signing a deal with a local distributor.
The company is planning to launch a range of products in the US, including its butter, vintage and mature cheddars and Leskol half-fat cheddar.

MD Richard Clothier said he was “thrilled” at signing the deal. He added: “Our family has taken great pride in the taste, texture and development of our products for more than a century, and we are looking forward to sharing our heritage and passion with cheese lovers in the US.”
Wyke has a growing export business and the company sells into markets including north Africa, the Middle East, Australia and across Europe.
