Venture Foods, the UK-based organic and ethical foods specialist, is adding two new products to its Organica organic, fairtrade, vegan confectionery bars line, bring the total number of offerings in the range to six.

The Premium Organic White Bar is a non-dairy, white ‘chocolate’ bar for vegans. It is made from rice milk, with added natural vanilla and sugar, and Venture Foods says it is “a delicious alternative to white chocolate for vegans and people who prefer to avoid dairy”.

The second new product in the range is the Swiss Dark Chocolate Bar with Mint Crisps, which is a 65% cocoa solid bar.  

Both new offerings are organic, gluten-free, vegan and non-GM.

The full Organica range now comprises Swiss Dark Chocolate Bar, Swiss Dark Chocolate Bar with Hazelnuts, Swiss Dark Chocolate Bar with Cranberries, Premium Swiss Chocolate Couverture Bar, Premium Organic White Bar and Swiss Dark Chocolate Bar with Mint Crisps. Each bar retails for around GBP1.79 (US$3.41).
