The UK arm of US snacks and soft drinks giant PepsiCo is reportedly planning to print nutritional advice to parents on packs of Walkers crisps.
From next February, PepsiCo UK is to print tips on multipacks of Walkers, advising parents on how to prepare healthy lunchboxes for their children, reported Marketing. The tips will advise parents to provide children with a balanced diet, including sufficient portions of fruit and vegetables.
The move is part of a revamp of the brand, which will also include an improved cheese and onion flavour and new multipack configurations.
UK confectionery giant Cadbury has also recently said it is considering putting healthy diet tips on some of its packaging.
