The depot will be at the Eurocentral Business Park, near Glasgow, and will create an extra 25 jobs at the company.


Warburtons already employs over 370 people between its bakery at Bellshill, Lanarkshire, and its distribution depot in Aberdeen.


Ian Connell, Warburtons general manager, Scotland, said: “Such has been the scale of our success in Scotland that we have outgrown the distribution facility attached to our bakery in Bellshill.”
