Weight Watchers has added a cheese and onion roll to its Savoury Pastry range, produced under licence by Anthony Alan Foods.
The roll is a tasty treat for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike, with a blend of low fat mature cheeses with diced onion and fresh potato wrapped in a flaky pastry, Anthony Alan Foods said
“The Weight Watchers Cheese and Onion Roll is a fantastic opportunity for bakers and retailers in the fast food market to offer a quality, healthy alternative to more pedestrian pre-packaged foods,” said Sarah Morgan, marketing director at Anthony Alan’s.
Designed for no-fuss snacking, the Weight Watchers Cheese and Onion Roll is marketed in packs of twos or fours with each roll individually wrapped for convenience and freshness. Each 65gm Cheese and Onion Roll has a Weight Watchers Points value of just 3, contains 158 calories and 3.9gm saturated fat.
