UK private equity company Bridgepoint Capital has said its portfolio company WT Foods, a supplier of ethnic foods, has bought chilled ready meal maker Marston Valley Foods.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, but Bridgepoint is to provide funding for the purchase, reported Dow Jones International News.
Bridgepoint backed the £102m (US$161.8m) buyout and delisting of WT Foods in November 2001.
