UK fish processor Young’s Seafood announced today (7 February) that it has begun using Kingsmill bread for the coating on its namesake breaded fish range.
The range, available from today, consists of cod and haddock products with a breaded Kingsmill coating and will be supported by a new TV campaign scheduled to launch later this month.
The company, part of fish giant Findus Group, which is owned by private-equity firm Lion Capital, told just-food that the move will differentiate Young’s from other products in the frozen category and “gives a strong quality to consumers”.
