Rhiannon Carr, Elmlea brand manager, said: "Consumers are looking for healthier alternatives to traditional crème fraiche and as the UK’s number one cream brand, Elmlea is perfectly positioned to meet this demand. Elmlea Fraiche offers consumers a lighter flavour, with the same great taste people have become accustomed to from the brand."

Elmlea Fraiche is available now in Morrisons at GBP0.79 (US$1.25) with a staggered roll out set to take place across the wider grocery from October.
