US retailer Albertsons is reported to be closing six more stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, meaning a total of 11 shuttered stores in Texas, according to local reports.

The company, largely owned by the Supervalu chain, has reportedly indicated that stores in Allen, Colleyville, Grapevine, Irving and McKinney, Texas are all underperforming. The closings are predicted to take place by mid-March, leaving the retailer with 71 stores in Dallas-Fort Worth and 93 in Texas.
