Ingredients company Balchem Corp. has expanded its applications laboratory in the state of New York to include a bakery innovation centre.
“The new bakery innovation centre demonstrates Balchem’s commitment to offer our customers first-class technical support, as well as cutting-edge solutions for the bakery industry. Our food scientists can now accelerate our customers’ product development and problem-solving processes,” said Eric Smith, VP, sales and marketing.
Together with Balchem’s existing R&D laboratories, the bakery innovation centre in New Hampton will “significantly” boost Balchem’s ingredient delivery technology opportunities, the company said.
