Blue Horizon Organic Seafood Co. has extended its retail presence, with a deal to supply its wheat-free, gluten-free Seafood Bites to Whole Foods Market stores nationwide in the US.
Blue Horizon Organic recently launched Blue Horizon Natural Seafood Bites, a gluten-free appetizer line. The Bites come in four varieties – Salmon Cake Bites, Crab Cake Bites, Fish & Chip Bites and Albacore Tuna Bites. Three of the four varieties are Marine Stewardship Council-certified, the company said.
Each box of Seafood Bites contains 12 pieces, at 80 calories per serving. The Bites are free of preservatives, antibiotics and trans-fats.
“We’re delighted to include Blue Horizon Organic’s Seafood Bites in our seafood offering,” said Dave Pilat, Whole Foods Market national seafood coordinator.
