Bumble Bee Foods, the California-based producer of prepared fish products, has announced the nationwide launch of Prime Fillet Chicken Breasts.
The company said the new range is high-quality, affordable and easy to prepare, with each individual four-ounce serving containing 100% skinless and boneless grilled chicken breast that is fully cooked and kept fresh in an easy-open, vacuum-sealed pouch.
The range comprises three seasoned varieties: Garlic & Herb, Southwest Seasonings and Barbeque Sauce.
“In developing this exciting new product, we wanted to provide dinner solutions that are not only very simple to prepare, but that can be a part of a nutritious meal,” said Bumble Bee CEO Christopher Lischewski.
Lischewski added that research had suggested that 36% of consumers would increase poultry consumption if it was quicker to prepare. “Chicken is such a popular choice among Americans,” he said. “Given our increasingly busy lifestyles, this is a quality product that is responsive to the continuing demand for convenience with an equally important focus on good nutrition and health.”
