Campbell Soup Co. has decided to restructure its North American business to streamline its management structure.

Denise Morrison, a Campbell executive for four years, has been appointed to head up a business unit responsible for the company’s soup, sauces and beverages in North America.

Campbell also announced that Mark Sarvary, president for Campbell North America, will leave after five years at the company.

Commenting on the realignment, president and CEO Doug Conant said: “Denise Morrison has provided excellent leadership as president [of] Campbell USA, and prior to that, as our chief customer officer.”

As part of the reshuffle, the company’s Pepperidge Farm and Godiva Chocolatier businesses will now report directly to Conant.
