US food manufacturer ConAgra Foods has announced the appointment of Joie Gregor to the company’s board of directors, bringing the total size of the board to ten members.
The appointment is effective immediately.
Gregor most recently served as assistant to the president for presidential personnel under President George W. Bush, with responsibility for the recruitment and recommendation of senior-level appointments in the Bush administration.
Previously, she was vice chairman of the executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International.
“I am pleased to welcome Joie to our board,” said Steven Goldstone, chairman of ConAgra Foods. “Joie has a very impressive background that demonstrates great leadership skills, which will be a significant addition to ConAgra Foods.”
