US food group ConAgra foods has appointed General Mills executive Greg Schlafer as president of its Lamb Weston division.
Schlafer, who most recently served as VP of the bakeries and foodservice division for General Mills, will join the frozen potato firm on 25 February.
“Greg brings a customer-focused approach, 20-plus years of experience in the food industry, and a proven track record of success in the commercial/business-to-business space,” said Paul Maass, president of Commercial Foods for ConAgra Foods.
“I’m confident his leadership will add tremendous value for our customers, our suppliers, and our team as we continue maximising the long-term potential of this important part of ConAgra Foods’ business.”
