ConAgra Foods has hired advertising executive Brett Groom to a new role overseeing the company’s digital and social marketing.
Groom was chief digital officer at W.B. Doner Advertising where he handled clients including Mazda, expedia.com and Minute Maid.
The US food giant said Groom would look to “integrate and co-ordinate traditional, new and emerging media channels” and develop strategies for the “rapidly changing landscape”.
Joan Chow, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at ConAgra, said: “The combination of traditional media channels, the rapidly changing digital landscape, and the increasingly important element of online conversations and social networking are more interconnected and more relevant for ConAgra Foods than ever before.”
