The chief operating officer of US wholesaler Costco is to retire from the firm on 4 June.
Dick DiCerchio, senior executive vice president and COO, will remain with the company as a member of the board of directors, the firm said yesterday (5 May).
Jim Sinegal, Costco’s CEO, said: “Dick has made invaluable contributions to the growth of our company, having spent twenty-seven years in all facets of our operations, culminating with his positions as senior executive vice president and a member of the board of directors”
Costco operates 567 warehouses, in the US, Puerto Rico, Canada, the UK, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Australia and Mexico.
