Dean Foods has promoted Timothy A. Smith to the position of vice president and treasurer.
In this new role, Smith will be responsible for the company’s treasury and corporate finance activities including maintaining and managing existing banking relationships, leading Dean’s capital markets activities and overseeing the company’s cash management functions.
“Tim brings a wealth of operational and financial expertise,” said Jack Callahan, executive vice president and CFO. “His skills have been invaluable and effective in management of the balance sheet and in maintaining strong relationships with the financial community. We look forward to Tim’s continued leadership.”
Smith joined Dean Foods in 2002 as assistant treasurer, and in 2005 was appointed VP and assistant treasurer.
