Food Lion chief information officer (CIO) Scott Harrison has been promoted to the newly created position of CIO for Delhaize Group US.
Harrison will oversee IT and supply chain solutions across Delhaize’s US supermarkets Food Lion, Hannaford and Sweetbay.
He will report to Terry Morgan, global CIO for Delhaize Group.

“Scott has an unmatched depth and breadth of knowledge about the supermarket business. We look forward to leveraging his expertise in technology to develop innovative systems and solutions to benefit the entire Delhaize Group infrastructure.”
Harrison began his career at Hannaford in 1982 and joined Food Lion in 2000.
