Dreyer’s Slow Churned Ice Cream is releasing an American Idol range of ice cream flavours – all styled on the hit US singing contest.
The US ice cream manufacturer will be hoping to win the “public vote” with the launch of its range, which includes Choc ‘N Roll Caramel, Hollywood Cheesecake, Soulful Sundae Cone, Triple Talent and Take the Cake.
Consumers will be urged to cast votes for their favourite flavours at Slowchurned.com, with the winning flavour earning a permanent spot on its Slow Churned ice cream line up. The flavours are available from 31 August.
“Dreyer’s is delighted to bring American Idol excitement to the freezer aisle. Like American Idol, Slow Churned has taken the country by storm,” said Suzanne Ginestro, Dreyer’s senior brand manager. “What better time to enjoy a bowl of your favourite American Idol flavour than while watching the latest episode of American Idol with friends and family. With five rockin’ flavours to choose from, there is sure to be a favourite for everyone.”
