US gum and confectionery giant Wrigley has named Albert Manzone as its group vice president and managing director, Western Europe.
Manzone, who joins the company from PepsiCo, will report to Peter Hempstead, Wrigley’s senior vice president, worldwide strategy and new business.
Manzone has 20 years’ experience in the consumer goods industry, and spent the last 11 of those with PepsiCo.
The executive was most recently senior vice president and general manager of PepsiCo Shelf Stable Juices North America, responsible for the Tropicana, Dole and Ocean Spray brands.
He was previously engagement manager at McKinsey & Company and marketing director, Italy at Philip Morris International.
