Bernon was replaced as president of Dean’s Dairy Group last year when company CEO Gregg Engles decided to take “direct responsibility” of the division.


Bernon stayed on as director for nine months but has decided to leave to “concentrate on other business and philanthropic interests”.


Dean has “no present plans to fill the vacancy”, the company added.
