Under the terms of the deal, Michael Foods, the business behind egg brands such as Papetti’s, Abbotsford Farms and Davidson’s Safest Choice, will become the exclusive manufacturer, supplier and distributor of Just’s signature Just Egg product to foodservice and food ingredient customers.
San Francisco-based Just suggested the deal means its product will become available to “millions more customers”.

Just Egg comes in two formats: a pourable liquid suitable for scrambled eggs, omelettes, quiches and baking applications, and a pre-baked, folded egg patty for breakfast sandwiches.
The product, made from from protein-rich mung beans, is already available from retailers including Walmart, Kroger, Whole Foods and Safeway.
