US baked goods firm Flowers Foods has promoted Bradley Alexander as chief operating officer.
Alexander, who started with the firm in 1981, was previously president of Flowers Bakeries, a position he held since 2008.
He replaces Gene Lord as COO. Lord will continue to serve as executive vice president of Flowers Foods, providing support for operations with a focus on the integration of assets acquired from the former Hostess Brands.
