Fresh Del Monte Produce has appointed executive Richard Contreras as senior vice president of finance.
Contreras, who will succeed the retiring John Inserra, will assume his role on 2 May.
Prior to joining Fresh Del Monte in 1999 as controller of North America, Contreras began his career with Ernst & Young in 1989, spending ten years with the company in various audit and accounting positions.
“Richard brings to his new position extensive knowledge in financial management and business leadership, along with a nine-year history with Fresh Del Monte Produce,” said Mohammad Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO.
