Garden-Fresh Foods has expanded its listeria recall to include all fresh cut vegetables, ready-to-eat salads, slaws, dips and spreads manufactured before 6 November.

The US Food and Drug Administration said the products may be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been reported.

The FDA said the date code on the products will have expired but added the company is “concerned” products may have been frozen in consumers homes.

“Consumers who have purchased these products are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund,” the food safety regulator said.

The products were sold nationwide to retail stores, restaurants and institutions.
