General Mills has announced over 50 new products set to debut in the US during second half of fiscal 2014 and dozens more internationally.

This line-up includes Nature Valley Protein Granola, Yoplait Greek blended yoghurt, Nature Valley Soft Baked Oatmeal Squares and Old El Paso frozen entrees.

“We are focused on the quality of our new product innovation, and have a strong slate of new products to bring consumers more of what they want,” Peter Erickson, General Mills’ executive vice president of innovation, technology and quality, claimed.

“Consumers have unwavering high standards for food. They want products that deliver on quality, taste, health, convenience and value, but at the same time they want more. More flavour, more fun, more nutrition. The more we connect with consumers to truly understand their most significant needs, the better we are able to bring remarkable new products to market.”

General Mills will increasingly focus on snack foods over the next year for launches in the US and internationally. Cereal launches will also be an increasing focus. Some of the launches are listed below
