Goya Foods, one of the largest Hispanic-owned food companies in the US, has rolled-out 12 recipes that will “feed a family of four for under US$10”.

The meals incorporate “traditional and authentic Latin American flavours”, the company said yesterday (21 May), and include Chicken Fricassee with rice and Garbanzada, Spaghetti with Ground Beef Goya Style, Steak and Onions, and Healthy and Tasty Four Bean Salad.

Each of the meals is specifically designed to take around half an hour to prepare.

“We at Goya recognise that our consumers are always looking to get more value without compromising taste. With our family of products exceeding well over 1,600, we are capable of providing flavourful recommendations for eating well while on a budget,” said Joseph Perez, senior vice president at Goya Foods.
