Hero, the Swiss food group, has extended its range of food for toddlers in the US through its local arm Beech-Nut Nutrition Corp.

The Homestyle range is being promoted as “all-natural” and comprises of Pears & Blueberries; Apples, Cherries & Plums; Cinnamon Raisin & Pears; and Peaches, Apples & Banana flavours.


Beech-Nut Homestyle fruits are available in 6oz glass jars and contain 5-7 grams of fibre per serving, the company said on Tuesday (19 May).


“We know that moms want the best in nutrition for their infants, and our mission is to give them nutritious, convenient and all-natural options to meet the needs of today’s busy families,” said Christoph Rudolf, president and CEO of Beech-Nut. “At Beech-Nut, our goal is to keep innovating with new foods that are made the way mom would make them at home.”


All Beech-Nut products are created based on the company’s ‘advancing nutrition’ platform, the company said, which outlines “strict nutritional guidelines” that all new products must meet in order to wear the Beech-Nut label.
