The Hershey Company will tomorrow (24 January) release its fourth quarter and full-year 2006 sales and earnings results, after a testing finish to the year.
The company lowered its earnings estimates in December following a massive product recall and Canadian plant closure after the detection of salmonella in a variety of Hershey products.
Hershey said at the time that the US market was sluggish, and that it expected sales growth this year to miss the targeted 3-4%, with earnings growth in the mid-single digits.
