Hormel Foods is to launch a series of print, TV and radio adverts in a bid to push its Spam brand in the US.
The new spot television, national print and radio advertisements, and revamped website – http://www.spam.com/ – play on the brand’s “playful personality” to give consumers different ways of eating Spam, the company said today (9 June).
“Our goal is to build upon the recent success of Spam product sales by showing our consumers simple and creative ways to use Spam products more often,” said Dan Goldman, senior product manager of Spam Family of Products. “These advertisements take everyday recipes a step further.”
The campaign’s theme will be headed: “Break The Monotony” and the national print advertisements will feature “an ordinary ingredient made extraordinary” by adding Spam products.
