US bakery group Interstate Bakeries Corp. has announced that its executive vice president and chief financial officer Ronald Hutchison has resigned from the group.

Interstate said Hutchison has resigned from the group to take up a similar role at a privately owned company.


J. Randall Vance, senior vice president finance and treasurer, is to serve as interim CFO until a permanent successor is appointed. Hutchison is to remain at Interstate until the end of the month to help with the transition.


Vance joined Interstate in September 2004, having worked for Farmland Industries for 13 years.
