Mistretta, who has than 20 years of experience in the food industry, fills the vacancy left by the resignation of James Elsesser in September 2004.


IBC chairman of the board Leo Benatar said: “On behalf of each of the directors, I would like to express how pleased we are that Bill will be joining the board.


“Bill has extensive knowledge of the food manufacturing business and a strong background in operations. IBC will benefit from his insights and experience.”


Mistretta also serves as vice president of operations for a division of Compass Group’s US operations.
