“We’re excited to add positive nutrition to our portfolio of weight-management cereals without sacrificing the taste consumers expect from the Special K brand,” said Jesper Lund Jacobsen, senior brand manager for Special K.

Consumers are being encouraged to place their views on the taste of the reformulated products on the firm’s Special K website.

In June 2009, Kellogg set itself a target, to offer “good to excellent” sources of fibre in nearly 80% of its cereals by this year.
