Kellogg health food subsidiary Kashi Co. has added to its cereal and cereal-bar portfolios in the US.

Kashi yesterday (9 March) unveiled Kashi Berry Blossoms cereal and Kashi TLC Cherry Vanilla Cereal Bars.

The cereal is made with seven whole grains and fruit including strawberries, blackberries and blueberries.

The latest addition to the TLC cereal-bar line also contains seven whole grains, as well as cherries and vanilla beans.

“We’re excited to introduce these tasty new foods with whole grain nutrition and real fruit to kick off the morning right,” said Kashi natural food and lifestyle “expert” Keegan Sheridan.

The cereal is priced at US$3.59; the bars will retail for $3.89.
