US grocery business Kraft Foods Group has added to its cream cheese stable with the launch of two Philadelphia products.

Philadelphia Spicy Jalapeno Cream Cheese Spread and Philadelphia Snack Delights will be available from early Spring, the firm said today (8 April). Kraft said it is hoping to appeal to consumers wanting an “exciting taste experience on each end of the sweet and spicy spectrum”.

Spicy Jalapeno is made with real jalapenos, while Snack Delights combines Philadelphia Reduced Fat Cream Cheese and ingredients such as chocolate. Launching in stores from 15 April, there are five variants: Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, Cinnamon and Caramel.
