Kraft Foods Group has developed a version of its Philadelphia spread with double the protein.

The Philadelphia 2X Protein cream cheese spread has been introduced to tap into growing interest among US consumers in protein – a trend that has, in part, driven the growth of the Greek yoghurt business in the country. The spread has 4g of protein per serving compared to the 2g in the standard line.
