The company, which acquired certain Archway assets in December 2008, said that more than 20 Archway varieties are returning to store shelves under its ownership.

Archway also expects to make several of its Holiday Cookies available in November, the group added.

Under previous ownership, Archway declared itself bankrupt in October last year. Since the brand was acquired by Lance the group has reopened the processing facility and worked to rebuild the business.

“When we acquired the Archway cookies brand, many consumers shared in our excitement, remembering Archway cookies at family gatherings, picnics and holiday events,” said Holly Tolson, brand manager of Archway cookies. “It soon became clear to us that we aren’t just making a popular cookie; we’re giving consumers a way to reconnect with family memories and simple traditions.”
