US snack group Lance has relaunched the Ice Lemon variant of the Archway Cookies range it purchased in 2008.

The firm today (31 March) said it has reintroduced its bite-sized Iced Lemonade cookies, the second lemon-flavoured cookie available from Archway, which also produces a Frosty Lemon variety.

Archway originally launched its Iced Lemonade cookies in February 2008, but the variety was not made after autumn 2008 when the previous owners of Archway declared bankruptcy.

Since taking ownership of the brand in December 2008, Lance said it has been busy bringing the cookies back to prominence on store shelves.

“Iced Lemonade has been a highly requested cookie by consumers,” the firm said.

A 14oz bag of Archway Iced Lemonade cookies retails for around US$3.49. Prices and varieties may vary among retailers.
