Land O’Lakes has announced the appointment of Howard Liszt and Robert Thompson as advisory members to the board of directors.
With 35 years of marketing and communications experience, Liszt is currently a senior fellow at the University of Minnesota School of Journalism & Mass Communication. He previously served as CEO for Campbell Mithun, a communications firm.
Thompson is a professor at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and serves on the USDA-USTR Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee for Trade and the International Food and Agricultural Trade Policy Council.
Land O’Lakes board chairman Pete Kappelman commented: “It’s quite an honour for Land O’Lakes to attract advisory members of this stature,” Kappelman said. “The appointment of Howard Liszt and Robert Thompson will provide the board access to considerable additional expertise.”
